
Lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha has ordered an enquiry into the alleged “misconduct” of National conference MLA during the oath taking ceremony.
According to reports, National conference leader and newly appointed MLA from Sonwari Bandipora Hilal Akbar Lone did not stand up for the National anthem during the oath taking ceremony of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday.
An investigation has been ordered by the Jammu and Kashmir administration against National Conference MLA from Sonawari, Hilal Akbar Lone, after he was found not standing for the National Anthem on Wednesday, top intelligence sources quoted by CNN news 18.
According to the report, when questioned, Lone said that he did not stand due to a medical condition.
Quoting sources news News18 reported that couple of hours before the incident, he was seen standing and giving interviews to the media.
