A 70-year-old pro-freedom activist, who was lodged in Kotbalwal jail, Jammu under Public Safety Act (PSA) breathed his last inside the jail Tuesday, Reports said.
Identified as Ghulam Hassan Malik a popular pro freedom activist of Uri. Malik was a resident of Pehlipora village of Uri and was arrested in January this year and was lodged under public safety act (PSA) in Kotbalwal jail Jammu, they said.
According to reports Malik was ill and was taken to Government Medical College Hospital, Jammu, for a medical check-up by jail authorities, where he breathed his last.
