Fake Alert: ‘Circular’ calling for regularization of daily wagers in Jammu Kashmir is ‘rubbish’

A fake order calling for the regularization of 61, 000 daily wagers working under various departments in Jammu Kashmir is being circulated on social media.

Titled, ‘Appointment of 61000 candidates of union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir in various Departments under SRO 64 of 1994, SRO 520 as well as J & K special provision Act 2010 approved by the state Administrative council in its 42nd meeting,’ the fake circular has been circulated widely on social media.

“High command Honourable Prime Minister Mr. Nariender Modi ji and Honourable Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah Sahab and all cabinet Ministers has been approved 61000 Candidates for regularization in various Departments Power Development Deptt. Forest Deptt. Revenue Deptt. P.H.E Jalshakti Deptt. Medical and Health Deptt. Agriculture, Sericulture Floriculture Gardens and Parks Deptt. Education Deptt. Municipality Deptt. Public works Deptt. Transport Deptt Consumer Affairs Deptt. Industries and Commerce Deptt. Corporations/ PSUTS All Rehbar Janglat, Rehbar Khail of union Territory of Jammu Kashmir in terms of state Administrative Council it has been also agreed in the meeting Migrant 4602 posts and need-based workers 4909 posts,” reads the order.

The fraudulent creator of the circular has made several spelling errors in it and the fonts used are not official.  The Kashmiriyat confirmed from the officials who said that the circular was fake and had no distant reality to it.

Meanwhile, the order read that. the decision was approved after a the meeting of high command Dr. Farooq Abdullah Sahab Parliament Member Mr. G.A Mir and Mr M.Y Tarigami and Mr Darksha indrabi and Mr. Davinder Raina Je of B.J.P were present in the meeting on 18-01-2023 to 19-01-2023.

Upon being asked by The Kashmiriyat M Y Tarigami referred to the order as “Rubbish.” He said that he does not know of any such meeting having happened.
