The family of the youth, Ilyas Ahmad Dar, who has gone missing from his home on 23rd July has urged him to return. The family has also appealed to the Government to trace their 23-year-old son.
According to the family, Ilyas Ahmad Dar son of Bashir Ahmad Dar from Dhanvetpura, Kokernag is missing for a week.
Talking to media persons, his relatives said, “We contacted all relatives and his friends but no one was able to provide any clue about him and later we lodged a missing report at the concerned police station.”
A senior police official posted in the area, while confirming that his missing report was lodged, said, “Reports suggest that the person has joined Hizbul Mujhadin militant organization, but we are not sure.”
