Family Welfare Employees Demand Salary- Protests Go Unnoticed

The employees of Jammu Kashmir family welfare and immunization have been protesting in the Pratap Park Srinagar for the past three days demanding salary.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the workers have been deprived of salary for the past six months, but the issue has went unnoticed.

“We have been deprived of salary for the past four months and it is unfortunate to see that media or nobody else is paying attention to our demands or protests,” a worker said.

She added that their salaries have not been disbursed for the last six months has not been disbursed due to non due to which that have to face many domestic issues.

She asked for the immediate attention of the concerned officials and warned that they would intensify their protests if the Authorities fail to release their salaries.

“We are not casual labourers, but permanent employees, our monthly salary should be released on time,” another worker said while demanding the direct intervention of Governor NN Vohra.

Upon being contacted by The Kashmiriyat a senior official said that we will try to address the issue as soon as possible.
