An elderly man who was hit by a biker on Sunday has succumbed to his injuries Thursday morning.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a speeding bike hit an elderly man, identified as Ghulam Mohammed Lone, a resident of Ganderpora Safakadal, Srinagar.
The 80-year-old Ghulam Muhammad Lone sustained head injuries during the accident after which he was rushed to the SMHS hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Thursday morning.
Locals from Safa Kadal said that he was a respectable member of the society in Safakadal. “he had been offering Azaan in the local mosque for nearly 40 years.”
He is survived by a wife, three sons and three daughters.
