A senior journalist, Hilal Shah of Dooru Anantnag was bereaved on Tuesday as his ailing father Peer Ghulam Nabi departed from this world in GMC Islamabad (Anantnag) Hospital.
Many journalist organizations and working journalists have expressed their sympathies with Hilal Shah.
The deceased was serving the Khankah of popular Sufi saint at Khanyar Srinagar, Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jeelani locally known as Dastgeer Soub since decades.
He was also famous for his Naat Khawani (poetry in praise of the prophet of Islam). With a splendid voice, Ghulam Nabi Shah was famous among the locals.
