Many Political workers and activists have resigned from their parties following a series of militant attacks in parts of Kashmir valley since the last month.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a father and daughter from the Manigam area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district have resigned from Indian National Congress by taking on the Social media platforms.
The resignation letter accessed by The Kashmiriyat reads “I Mohammad Yousuf Lone son of Abdul Aziz Lone and my daughter Daisy Jan of Manigam in Kulgam announce that we quit the Congress party and do not have any concern now with any political party.”
Pertinent to mention here is that Militants in the past few months have conducted a series of attacks against the activists of Bhartiya Janta Party and others, forcing many to quit pro-election groups.
