Amid growing Militancy, a father of five children has joined militancy in Kishtwar district of Chenab Valley two days ago.
The Jammu Kashmir Police in Kishtwar has already declared the 34-year-old Talib Gujjar, son of late Noor Mohammad, of Rashgwari, Padyarana in Nagsini tehsil of Kishtwar as a militant after he remained absconding for last two years.
Talib had disappeared mysteriously in July 2016 prompting his family to lodge a missing report with Kishtwar police on 21-3-2017. Finally, the police declared Talib an active militant with Hizbul Mujahideen on 20-6-2018.
The Police said that it has found that Talib had joined the Hizb and was seen roaming with weapons in the upper reaches of Marwah and Dachhan areas of Kishtwar along with few other militants active in the area.
Reports available to The Kashmiriyat suggest that at least two other youths have also joined militancy in the district which was the only district in Jammu province where Hizb outfit still exists.
It is believed that the 32-year-old Qamru Din alias Hamza Hizbi, a resident of Assam joined militancy in Kishtwar and it is believed that he had motivated some youths of the district to join the militancy.
