A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle in Chandpora Kenelwan area of Bijbehara in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
An official said that a pedestrian identified as Ghulam Mohuddin Rather Son of Moma Rather resident of Chandpora Kanelwan Bijbehara was injured when a vehicle hit him near Chandpora on Tuesday afternoon, uaing critical injuries to him.
He was immediately shifted to the hospital for treatment where doctors declared him brought dead.
Locals speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that Mohuddin was a father to four young daughters and a son who is 18 years old.
Meanwhile, Police have registered a case under the FIR number 148/2022 and started an investigation.
