In a shocking incident, The father of a two year old boy has allegedly slit the throat of his son in the Lisser area of Kokernag in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (anantnag) district.
The mother of the two year old boy identified as Usman Gowhar speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that Gowhar Ahmed Dar, the father of the child has slit his throat.
Usman, was brought to the district hospital of Islamabad (anantnag) in Janglat Mandi in a critical condition and is being treated at the hospital, Hospital sources told The Kashmiriyat.
His mother alleged, “the family of Gowhar Ahmed (his father) has promised Gowhar that he will be married to a new girl if he kills me and my son.”
A Police official upon being contacted by The Kashmiriyat said that they have received a complaint and arrested the father of the boy. Also, investigation has been started into the incident.
