A female tourist from Delhi died at a hotel in Srinagar.
Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Friday, a tourist identified as Veena Ahuja, aged 62, a resident of Delhi, fell unconscious at hotel 4-Points in the Sonwar area of Srinagar district after which she was shifted to the nearby hospital.
Upon her arrival at the Khyber Hospital, the doctors declared her brought dead, they said.
The Jammu Kashmir Police has cognizance of the incident and launched further investigation into the matter.
