After remaining blocked for seven days, the National Highway connecting Jammu with Srinagar has been reopened for one way vehicular movement.
An official said that, On Tuesday, the stranded light-motor vehicles (LMVs) and fuel tankers were allowed to move towards Kashmir valley.
At least three thousand vehicles are stranded on the 300 Kilometer long Highway which connects Srinagar with Jammu through a hilly Terrain.
The official said that traffic was allowed to move due to the shortage of supplies in the Kashmir valley.
