On the 26th of January, The Kashmiriyat posted a news item(video) about Jamia Siraj Ul Uloom’s participation in the Republic day celebration and flag hoisting ceremony.
The news drew flak from various people on social media and as a result, on the 27th of January @tkwmag did a report on the incident having been conducted under pressure.
Later the same day our reporter spoke to the officials from the idaara who confirmed the @tkwmag report.
They said that from the Police to the army everyone is trying to harass them, “Yes they celebrated the day, but nobody understands the immense pressure they were under,” they had said.
Since then The Kashmiriyat has been trying to get in touch with the Principal of the idaara, Mr. Mohammad Yousuf, since then, his phone is constantly coming switched off.
The Kashmiriyat also put a foot note that the story will be updated if the Army officials comment on the issue.
As of today morning, 31st January 2020 44 RR and Siraj Ul Ulom together have lodged an FIR against the news portal of The Kashmir Walla and The Kashmiriyat for maligning the Army image and institution and FIR has been Lodged in police station Imam Sahib bearing FIR No 06/2021 30/01/2021 Under Section: 153, 505, IPC.
We do not know the circumstances in which the above action has been taken against us.
