Fire broke out in a shop at South Kashmir’s Mehndi Kadel Area of Anantnag district, resulting in damage to several shops.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that the fire was brought under control with the help of fire tenders.
The fire broke out from the Hilal Motors shops which are situated at Mehndi Kadel Anantnag of one Abdul Gani and Abdul Salam R/o Mehndi Kadel Anantnag.
Due to electricity short circuit the shops got fully damaged, said the official.
In this regard no loss of life has been witnessed, the official stated.
