Five AK-47 Rifles, Seven Pistols Recovered by Government Forces in Kupwara

The Government forces deployed in Karnah said that they recovered a huge cache of weapons in the late hours of Sunday in the Kupwara district.

An official presser of the Army said that on the night of 28 March in a specific intelligence-based joint operation by the Indian Army & JKP, five AK Rifles & Seven Pistols with a host of magazines and ammunition were recovered.

The operation was conducted in very close proximity of the line of control in Dhanni village which is under direct observation of Pakistan Army posts in Lipa Valley.

In the last two years, a total of 16 weapons & over 50 KG of narcotics have been recovered from Karnah, the Forces said.
