
Kashmiri youths who sold hot clothes in the Doranda area of Ranchi were thrashed by a mob in the area.
Reports reaching The Kashmiriyat state that the incident happened on Saturday Saturday, around 11 o’clock when a mob rounded up the Kashmiri youth and started beating them without any provocation. The group of Kashmiri vendors selling warm clothes and Shawls was also robbed of their possessions by the mob.
The five identified as Mohammad Burhan, Tanveer, Sartaj, Riyaz, and Ghulam Nabi said that they were selling clothes when around twenty miscreants attacked them near Kadrupul and looted many of their belongings.
Police have said that the matter is being investigated. The statement of Kashmiri youths who have alleged assault has been recorded. The Police have also arrested three youth on the charge of assault.
Pertinently this is the second incident to happen with the mont in Ranchi.
On November 11, some people had assaulted four Kashmiri youths in the Hathikhana Patthar Road of Doranda police station area and forcibly asked them to raise Jai Shri Ram slogans.
