Five residential houses were damaged in a fire incident in Tanki mohalla near Jamia masjid area of Srinagar district on Tuesday evening.
Official sources told Kashmir News Apex- (KNA) said that five residential houses belonging to Ghulam Qadir Bazaz, Ghulam Mohammad Gonri, Mohd Ayub, Abdul Guffar, Bashir Ahmad Teli were partially damaged in a fire incident that broke out in Tanki Mohalla this evening.
They said that F&ES with the help of police and locals doused off the flames to prevent any further damages.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and investigation was underway to ascertain the cause of fire. (KNA)
