Sanam Lotus, the head of MeT Department Jammu Kashmir has said that the weather is likely to improve from tomorrow in the Kashmir valley.
Sonam Lotus while speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that he had warned the authorities of a flood threat, which is real. He asked the people living nearby rivers to stay vigil till tomorrow.
Meanwhile waters levels have been drastically rising, The gauge reading of the river Jhelum at the Sangam is increasing and at around 4 pm it was recorded as 19.41 ft while as the gauge reading at Ram Munshi Bagh at around the same time was recorded as 11.46 ft. The gauge reading at Asham around the same time was recorded as 4.33 ft.
