The House of an active militant was ransacked by forces in the Amshipora area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district, the family claimed.
A Local from the area told The Kashmiriyat that forces barged into the house of active Militant, Shah Jahan and vandalized the property in the house.
“They even tried to set ablaze the house of Shah Jahan, but due to the timely intervention of locals, the fire was doused off on time,” he said.
The Forces after entering into the house, broke the window panes, smashed the glasses, and then also abused the inmates of the house verbally.
Shah Jahan, who is an active member of Jaish e Muhammad had joined Militancy earlier this year.
The houses of Militants have been ransacked constantly in the past few weeks, the houses of Militants including those of Azad Malik in Arwani, Umer Rashid in Kulgam.
An official speaking to The Kashmiriyat denied any involvement in the vandalization and said the forces did not enter any Militants house.
