Following specific inputs about Militant movement, The Government Forces on Wednesday launched Cordon and Search operation in Tangal area of Frisal in South Kashmir’s Kulgam District.
Officials told The Kashmiriyat that a search operation has been launched Rastriya Rifles, Jammu Kashmir Police and 18 BN CRPF in Tangbal area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam District.
All the entry and exit points of the area have been sealed on Wednesday afternoon.
A door to door search operation has begun, Locals told The Kashmiriyat.
Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was launched as an Anti Militancy operation on May 2, 2017 amid a rise in the local recruitment into Militant groups in the Kashmir valley.
The Forces jointly conduct search operations in a specific area, locking down the area virtually and frisk houses on will.
