Following a specific input about Militant movement, the Government Forces jointly launched a cordon and search operation in the Lasendow area of South Kashmir’s Shopian District.
On late noon on Wednesday, the forces including 44 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir police sealed all the entry and exit points to the Shopian area.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a heavy contingent of forces reached this locality and are conducting a search operation in the area.
