The Government Forces launched a cordon and search operation in the Chitragam area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that 1 RR of the Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police, and 178 BN of CRPF launched a joint operation on Tuesday in the Chitragam area of Shopian.
The operation was launched following a specific input about Militant movement in the area.
The searches were going on when this report was filed.
