Following specific inputs about Militant movement, The Government Forces on Thursday morning launched Cordon and Search operation (CASO) in Lalpora area of Kunzer in North Kashmir’s Baramulla District.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a search operation has been launched 2 Rastriya Rifles, Jammu Kashmir Police and 92 BN of CRPF in Lalpora area of Tangmarg’s Kunzer.
All the entry and exit points of the area have been sealed on Thursday morning.
A door to door search operation has begun, Locals told The Kashmiriyat.
Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was launched as an Anti Militancy operation on May 2, 2017 amid a rise in the local recruitment into Militant groups in the Kashmir valley.
The Forces jointly conduct search operations in a specific area, locking down the area virtually and frisk houses on will.
