Following specific inputs about Militant movement, The Government Forces on Monday afternoon launched Cordon and Search operation (CASO) in Bomai area of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla District.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a search operation has been launched 22 Rastriya Rifles, Jammu Kashmir Police and 92 BN of CRPF in Bomai area of Sopore.
All the entry and exit points of the area have been sealed on Monday afternoon.
A door to door search operation has begun, Locals told The Kashmiriyat.
Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was launched as an Anti Militancy operation on May 2, 2017 amid a rise in the local recruitment into Militant groups in the Kashmir valley.
The Forces jointly conduct search operations in a specific area, locking down the area virtually and frisk houses on will.
