Forces on Saturday early morning launched a massive cordon and search operation (CASO) in North Kashmir’s Sopore town of Baramulla district.
Reportedly a joint team of Army, CRPF and Search operation group (SOG) of Jammu Kashmir Police conducted searches in Batpora area of Sopore town early morning and sealed all entry and exit points of the area.
An official said, following inputs about militants movement a joint team of Army, SOG of J&K Police and CRPF BN launched search operations in the area.
Meanwhile searches in the area were going on when this report was being filed.
Pertinently, days before militants attacked forces party in this town, killing four people including two cops and two civilians.
