Following specific inputs about Militant movement, The Government Forces on Tuesday afternoon launched Cordon and Search operation (CASO) in Saderkot area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora District.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a search operation has been launched 52 Rastriya Rifles, Jammu Kashmir Police and 92 BN of CRPF in the Saderkot Balat area.
All the entry and exit points of the area have been sealed on Tuesday afternoon.
A door to door search operation has begun, Locals told The Kashmiriyat.
Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was launched as an Anti Militancy operation on May 2, 2017 amid a rise in the local recruitment into Militant groups in the Kashmir valley.
The Forces jointly conduct search operations in a specific area, locking down the area virtually and frisk houses on will.
