The Government Forces on Thursday launched Cordon and Search operation (CASO) in Hajam Mohallah of Panzgam area in South Kashmir’s Pulwama District.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a search operation has been launched 55 Rastriya Rifles, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF in Hajam Mohallah area of Pulwama’s Panzgam.
All the entry and exit points of the area have been sealed on Thursday afternoon.
A door to door search operation has begun, Locals told The Kashmiriyat.
Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was launched as an Anti Militancy operation on May 2, 2017 amid a rise in the local recruitment into Militant groups in the Kashmir valley.
The Forces jointly conduct search operations in a specific area, locking down the area virtually and frisk houses on will.
