The Government Forces late night on Thursday vandalized the property at the house of Army man turned Militant, Zahoor Ahmed Thoker in Sirnoo area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama.
The Forces, as reported by The Kashmiriyat, had launched a cordon and search operation in the locality following inputs about Militant movement in the area.
Following the Cordon and Search Operation, intense clashes had erupted in the area when hundreds of youth including those from nearby villages rushed to the Sirnoo village and clashes with the forces from 55RR, Jammu Kashmir Police and 183 BN of CRPF.
The Locals have alleged that the forces barged inside the house of Zahoor Ahmed Thoker, an active Militant from the area and ransacked the property.
“They used harsh abuses and words against the inmates and threatened them, before they left the house,” a local said.
Zahoor Ahmed Thoker of 173 Territorial Army, who went missing along with his service rifle and ammunition in joined the Militant outfit Hizb ul Mujahideen in June last year.
An official said denied the allegations and said the Forces left the area after the CASO and has nothing to do with the vandalization of the house.
