The Government Forces on Friday afternoon launched yet another Cordon and Search operation (CASO) in the Kashmir valley, this time in the Heff area of South Kashmir’s Shopian District.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a CASO has been launched 44 Rashtriya Rifles, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF in Heff area of Shopian.
Following specific inputs about Militant movement, All the entry and exit points of the area have been sealed on Friday afternoon.
A door to door search operation has begun, Locals told The Kashmiriyat.
Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was launched as an Anti Militancy operation on May 2, 2017 amid a rise in the local recruitment into Militant groups in the Kashmir valley.
The Forces jointly conduct search operations in a specific area, locking down the area virtually and frisk houses on will.
