Forces Thrash the father of Police Officer in Tral

The Father of a sub inspector of Jammu Kashmir Police was allegedly assaulted by government forces in Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a person namely Bashir Ahmad Bhat, who is the father of Sub Inspector Jammu Kashmir Police Tahir Bashir Bhat Of Tral was beaten up by Government forces at Nazneenpora Hayuna village of Tral.

As per his family members, Bashir has got fracture in his arm and has been shifted for hospital for treatment.

“He was beaten without any provocation, so immediate and stern action must be taken against the involved personnel,” they demanded.

A senior police Official upon being contacted by The Kashmiriyat said that the  issue is under investigation and the facts relating to the incident are being ascertained.
