Forces Vandalize the house of a Militant in Quimoh

August 28

The Government Forces allegedly ransacked the house of a Militant Parvez Ahmed Bhat in Quimoh belt of South Kashmir’s Kulgam in the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.

A Family member while speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that forces barged into the house and ransacked the household items and smashed the glasses inside the house.

“We are not even sure if he has joined militants, why are we being harassed even if he has joined militancy?” a family member asked appealing Parvez to return home.

The family alleged that the forces behaved inhumanely and also abused the inmates before they left the house after they destroyed property inside the house.

Many Militant families have been harassed in the past weeks, earlier the family of a Militant from Khudwani belt had accused the forces of vandalizing the property in their house.

The Army officials however denied any involvement in the vandalism. (The Kashmiriyat).
