Mafia-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf Ahmed shot dead while being taken for medical in Prayagraj, news agency ANI reported.
Asad, Atiq’s son, was killed in an encounter on April 13 and was cremated today amid strict security.
The shooting took occurred inside Prayagraj’s Dhoomanganj Police Station. As further information about the event emerge, news agency PTI claimed that two to three persons opened fire on them.
