Four houses attached in Kashmir in ‘militancy funding’ case

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday attached properties of four accused persons in a ‘narco-terror’ funding case in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district of Jammu Kashmir.

Official sources said that the properties were attached in connection with an investigation of a case RC-03/2020/NIA/JMU related to the narco-terrorism.

The accuser who properties were attached include Muneer Ahmed Banday son of Ghulam Rasool Banday, Afaq Ahmed Wani son of Ghulam Rasool Wani, Abdul Moomin Peer son of late Mohammed Asraf Peer and Saleem Andrabi son of Syed Iftikhar Geelani of Laribal Rajiwar.

Officials said that the properties were identified under proceeds of terrorism and were attached with the prior permission from designated authority.(KNO)
