
Four persons were been killed after a truck was hit by a boulder in the Sher Bibi in Banihal area of Ramban district.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that on Tuesday morning, a truck bearing registration number (JK03J-0312) on way from Jammu towards Srinagar was hit by a massive boulder and it skidded off the road.
He said the truck rolled into a deep gorge, killing all the four occupants on the spot.
The official said police and rescue teams rushed to the scene and recovered the bodies.
The four deceased have been identified as Mohammed Afzal Garoo (driver), son ofAbdul Aziz Garoo, aged 42; Mohammed Alltaf Garoo, brother of driver, 36; Irfan Ahmed Bhat son of Abdul Hamid Bhat, resident of Trail, Srigufara Anantnag, 33 and Showkat Ahmed, son of Abdul Hamid, R/o Trail Srigufara Anantnag, 29.
