Widespread, heavy snowfall has lead to the snapping of air, surface links to Kashmir on Saturday morning.
Reports reaching The Kashmiriyat suggest that railway services have been suspended across the Kashmir, while the highway connecting Jammu with Srinagar has been blocked too after fresh snowfall in most of the areas of Kashmir valley.
The flights on Srinagar airport have also been temporarily suspended for a day in view of the fresh snowfall.
Meanwhile snow clearance is on in the urban areas, however the rural areas of the Kashmir valley especially down in South Kashmir still remain disconnected.
