Frozen Lakes and Water Tapes, Kashmir Continues to Shiver under Immense Cold

The Kashmir valley yet another cold night as the  temperatures dipped to Minus 7.2 degrees Celsius in the Summer capital of Jammu Kashmir.

A MET Department official told that the cold weather conditions are likely to continue for another four to five days with chances of snow in the first week of January.

Pahalgam recorded temperature at minus 8.3 degree Celsius while it was minus 7 degree Celsius in Gulmarg.

Even the maximum temperature recorded in Drass on Friday did not rise above the freezing point as it settled at minus 5.5 degree.
