Full Dress Rehearsal in connection with the celebrations of 74th Republic Day 2023 was held with great enthusiasm at District Police Lines in Shopian.
The contingents of CRPF, JKP, Forest Protection Force, Home Guards, NCC cadets, and School Children of various Educational Institutions presented an impressive March past.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Shopian, Yar Ali Khan unfurled the National Flag, inspected the parade, and took a salute at the March Past.
Speaking on the occasion, ADC put up the District Development Profile comprising ongoing projects and programs besides distinguished sector-wise achievements of the district.
The ADC called upon the participating students to exhibit their best performance with the spirit of patriotism at the Republic day function to make the celebration a grand success. He also called upon the officers, school children and the public to come in large numbers to celebrate the National function enthusiastically.
On the occasion, Students of various educational institutions presented scintillating cultural items based on patriotism, cultural traditions and folk dances which received great applause by the audience.
Senior officers from Police and Civil Administration were present on the occasion.
