Janta Dal-United President for Jammu and Kashmir GM Shaheen Friday alleged that except BJP, leaders from almost all political parties have been deprived of security.
He said that besides security, accommodation is being provided to those BJP leaders who barely know ABC of politics and never occupied any post or position.
“MHA and Jammu Kashmir Administration have adopted double standards.

They hug the BJP cadre and repel rest of the political parties. This is a shame and absolutely unjustified. Depriving political workers of security poses a grave risk to their lives,” Shaheen said.
Shaheen while addressing a press conference in Srinagar said that millions are being spent on the delegations that visit Kashmir on one or the other pretext.

“It is the Jammu and Kashmir government that bears the expenses of dignitaries who visit Kashmir Valley. “These people visit different tourist resorts including Gulmarg, Sonmarg, and Tulip Garden. They stay in lavish hotels at the cost of state exchequer,” he said adding that a huge amount is being spent on the deployment and security of these visitors who visit Kashmir for fun.
“Over one lakh crore budget has been allocated for Jammu and Kashmir but the fact is that a major chunk of this budget is being spent on the irrelevant visits of dignitaries who arrive Kashmir Valley from different parts of India, especially Delhi and Mumbi. (KNT)
