Ganderbal Areas Demand Electricity, Block Roads

The Residents of Kurhama in Baroosa area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district staged a protest demonstration against the PDD department and blocked  Baroosa Bypass  at Kurhama area of Ganderbal on Friday Morning.

“Our locality is without electricity from past several days. We made frequent requests in this connection before concerned authorities but to no avail,” a protester told The Kashmiriyat.

Later, officials reached on the spot and assured the protesters that the issue would be take up with the concerned authorities.

After assurance, the protesters dispersed and vehicular movement was restored.
