
The newly formed Association of print and electronic media persons, “Ganderbal Media Guild” (GMG) held its first general body elections on Thursday.
After successful procedure of voting, Sr. Journalist Shah Aijaz Ahmad, Founder and Editor in Chief Global Newsline Network and Sr. Correspondent Daily Roshni, was elected as the first President of the Ganderbal Media Guild (GMG).
Besides, Sabik Ali Sabik of Kashmir Crown was elected as General Secretary and Mukhtar Ahmad Shah of Lazawal Urdu News was elected as the treasurer of GMG.
The members also framed Board of Advisors which comprises, Sr. Journalist Saleem Wani, Bureau chief Gulistan News, Abdul Majeed of Tehzeeb TV, Shahid Jeelani of Shri TV, Umar Raina of Glacier Times and Shahid Afridi of JK P Media.
Pertinent to mention that Ganderbal Media Guild (GMG) is an amalgam of print, electronic and Digital Media that is devoted to work and serve society on the ethical lines of Journalism.
