Ganderbal municipal committee recorded a voter turnout of 9.21 percent till 2 pm, Officials said on Tuesday.
Officials said that 782 votes were cast out of 8491 till 2 pm in 12 wards of the municipal committee, 191 votes were cast in Gangerhama-B which is the highest in the committee while lowest turnout was recorded in Saloora A which recorded only 6 votes till 2 pm.
Thirty Seven candidates are in fray for 12 wards of Ganderbal Municipal committee.

Meanwhile Shops, fuel stations and other business establishments were shut in poll-bound areas of Ganderbal and Srinagar the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.
