A youth from Ganderbal in Central Kashmir is battling for life at Sher e Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences in Srinagar.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Mohammed Rafiq Parray who is a resident of Ganderbal’s Nagbal area had travelled to Sugan Shopian to offer the funeral of slain Militant commander, Zeenat ul Islam.
Upon reaching near the funeral ground, the mourners travelling towards the ground were fired upon by Forces deployed in the area.
Yousuf was hit with a bullet and was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital from where he was rushed to SKIMS.
The Nagbal area in Ganderbal on Monday is observing a complete shutdown as Yousuf battles for his life on the hospital bed.
Pertinently Nagbal in Ganderbal is at least 60 Kilometres away from Sugan Shopian.
