Gandhi College Students accuse teachers of Absenteeism; Say Teachers Playing with their Future

The Second and Third Semester Students of Gandhi College Srinagar alleged that the college authority is not giving regular classes to them, leaving students worried.

While talking to The Kashmiriyat Second Semester students said that they have three classes in a week but the teachers do not even come to attend these classes.

A student of second semester said that already the students are facing internet shutdowns which causing them further troubles for their future. Meanwhile, students of third semester issued a letter to the college administration in which they said the college authorities are playing with the future of students.

“We have already suffered at the hands of college administration in the second semester, we don’t want to suffer again in our third semester,” the letter reads.

The Kashmiriyat contacted the Principal of Gandhi College Srinagar she said that the college has set the rules in which boys department can attend three days a week and girls can attend also three days. She further said that it’s because of Covid Pandemic the academic activities in the college are literally getting disturbed.
