A girl student of class 12th committed suicide at Beerwah in central Kashmir’s Budgam after failing to qualify class 12 exam.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that an 18-year old girl (name withheld) who was a resident of Chewdara area in Budgam consumed poison at her home after she failed in the class 12 exams.
The girl was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital, from where she was shifted to Srinagar hospital for advanced medical treatment, however she died on the way to the hospital.
Pertinently the results of board exams for class 12th were declared on Monday evening.
