
The Girls High School in the Khanabal area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district organized a mass covid 19 awareness drive on Thursday.
The awareness programme on implementation of covid-19 appropriate behaviour was organized through students and teachers in zone Anantnag.
In a press statement issued to The Kashmiriyat, it was said that all staff members and students of the classes 8th to 10th following covid protocols distributed masks and raised awareness about covid 19 among the general public of the Anantnag district.
“Around 200 Masks were distributed among people by the school,” they said.
Stressing on the importance of following the covid guidelines, the headmaster while addressing the students said, “Covid cases have surely gone down, but the pandemic is not over yet, there is a need for people to adhere to the covid guidelines.”
The drive was organized in adherence to the order by the Chief Education officer of the Anantnag district, Mr Mohammed Sharif.
