Gloom Descends Over District Hospital in Islamabad (Anantnag) as Injured Bodies From Kulgam Keep Rushing in

Gloom descended over the District of Hospital of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district as dozens of civilians injured during the Kulgam Gunfight were brought here.

Youth from all parts of the town reached the District hospital in huge numbers to donate blood for the injured people who were brought to the District hospital here.

Chaos and loud mourning soon gripped the district hospital as injured bodies kept coming here from the encounter site in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district where an encounter had erupted early morning between Militants and Government Forces.

Hospital Officials told The Kashmiriyat that at least ten injured were brought to the District hospital in Islamabad (Anantnag), out of which six were referred to Srinagar Hospitals for treatment.

Those being treated at District Hospital of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) have been identified as Adil Ahmed son of Abdul Rehman resident of Churath Kulgam, left arm bullet, Mohammed Waseem son of Abdul Majeed Khanday resident of Tuli Nowpora, pellet in eye, Manzoor Ahmed Resident of Srandoo Kulgam , pellet right eye, Obaid son of Jahangeer, Shurath Kulgam , Left Arm injury

while Masroor Ahmed Son of Ghulam Mohammed Dar, resident of Bogund Kulgam, fire in abdomen area, Tariq Ahmed son of Mohammed Yusuf, resident of Srandoo Kulgam, right eye pellet, Imran Ahmed son of Abdul Rehman resident of Namay Kulgam, pellet in left eye , Aaqib Ahmed son of Shams u Din, resident of Dadripora, Kulgam, fire in abdomen, fire in abdomen, Faizan Son of Bashir Ahmed, resident of Dadripora Kulgam, Pellet right eye, Malik Rehan resident of Dadripora Kulgam, Right eye pellet have been referred to Srinagar hospital for advanced treatment. (The Kashmiriyat)
