The Government schools in Jammu Kashmir will be renamed after the Government Force personnel who have been killed while “fighting for India.”
Divisional Commissioner Jammu has written a letter to the Deputy Commissioners in the Jammu and Chenab valley divisions to identify the government-run schools, which can be named after the soldiers killed, Times Now reported on Friday.
These Schools will be renamed after the Soldiers killed during Anti- Militancy and other combat operations including those in wars. The List includes deceased Government force personnel from Paramilitary, Army, and the Police.
The Jammu Kashmir administration has asked the local authorities to form a committee at the district level to prepare such details after due verification.
The committee will include the representatives of the Indian Army, the Local Police officials, ADC, DPO, or AC Panchayat.
