Unknown persons lobbed a grenade on Police Station in main town of South Kashmir’s Pulwama District on Wednesday night.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that unknown persons hurled a grenade on Police Station in Pulwama District, however the Police personnel deployed in the Police Station fired shots forcing the attackers to flee from the spot.
As per Officials reports nobody was injured in the attack, later confirmed by officials to The Kashmiriyat.
A Local informed The Kashmiriyat that a massive explosion followed by gunshots was heard creating panic among locals in the area.
They said that the grenade missed the target and exploded outside the gate of the Police Station.
The Forces have launched a massive search operation around the Pulwama Police Station to nab the attackers.
Police officials however have denied any grenade attack and said the Policemen fired after observing a suspicious movement.
