Petrol and Diesel shortage has hit many places of the Kashmir valley including the districts of Islamabad (Anantnag), Shopian, Pulwama and Kulgam.
Many people complained of oil stations refusing to fill oil due to the shortage of petrol and diesel on the oil stations.
“We do not know why, but they refused to fill in my car with petrol, they said they have no oil in the station,” a local Nadeem Ahmed told The Kashmiriyat.
In the absence of needed oil to fill into vehicles, a huge rush is being witnessed at very few oil stations who still have oil available.
Most of the petrol pumps are shut in the areas of Kashmir valley due to the shortage of diesel and petrol.
A petrol pump owner told The Kashmiriyat that due to the blockade of National Highway, they are running short of petrol and diesel.
The Jammu-Srinagar National highway was closed for the second day on Monday due to landslides in Ramban district. (The Kashmiriyat)
